EMS franchise or your own brand? What the Vibraé partner model looks like

October 19, 2026

Anyone thinking about their own EMS studio sooner or later comes across a franchise offer. It sounds safe: a well-known name, a ready-made interior, procedures, equipment, training and someone who has already been down this road. The second option is your own brand and complete freedom, but also finding equipment, software, training and clients on your own.

Between these two paths there is a third, which owners of studios and salons ask us about more and more often: your own brand on the sign, and behind it proven equipment, a system for running the business and a team that helps you get it started. In this article we compare these three models and describe what working with Vibraé looks like.

How a classic franchise works

A franchise is an agreement in which an entrepreneur runs their own business, but under someone else's brand and according to someone else's standard. In return for the name, know-how and support, they pay the franchisor and commit to following its rules.

Franchise agreements in the fitness industry differ in their details, but similar elements usually appear in them. Each of them needs to be read carefully before you sign:

  • An entry fee for joining the network, paid before opening.
  • Ongoing fees, fixed or calculated as a percentage of turnover, often also including a contribution to the network's joint marketing.
  • A premises standard, meaning the interior, signage, and sometimes a minimum floor area and a location approved by the network.
  • A designated supplier of equipment and software, with no possibility of changing during the agreement.
  • The price list and offer set centrally or within ranges imposed by the network.
  • Length of the agreement and a non-compete clause, which may still apply after it ends.
  • Territory, meaning the area in which the network will not open another location, or the lack of one.

For some people this is a good choice. Someone with no experience in the industry who wants a ready-made recipe pays for someone else having made most of the decisions for them. The price is less freedom and the fact that the brand you work for over the years is never your own.

Your own brand without a partner

The other extreme is a studio under its own name, built from scratch. The owner chooses the equipment, premises, price list and way of working, and everything they build belongs to them. They pay no one for the name and can change direction whenever they see fit.

This freedom, however, has its price. You have to choose the equipment and software on your own, train the team, prepare materials, photos and the offer, and then convince clients of a service nobody in the area knows yet. It is hardest at the beginning, when there are neither reviews nor referrals, and every mistake costs months.

A third way: your own brand, powered by Vibraé

A studio or salon working on Vibraé can operate under the Vibraé brand or under its own name, with the tag powered by Vibraé. You do not need to change your sign or build everything from scratch. Your name stays in the foreground, and the tag tells clients that proven technology stands behind the service.

In this model, the partner gets what a person starting out alone usually lacks most:

  • Equipment with our own software. A wireless dry suit and a Smart Box smaller than a phone. We write the software ourselves, so we can improve it at any time, and you get a wide range of parameters and your own programmes.
  • A system for running the business. Core Fitness for studios and Core Beauty for salons: schedule and online bookings, payments, packages, enquiries from ads, training plans and reports, with your logo.
  • Training. Onboarding and training in using the system, and for those who want more, the certified Vibraé Academy trainer path.
  • Marketing materials. Photos of real equipment, offers for your clients, a payback calculator and a brand presentation.
  • Signage. We prepare a signage design with the tag powered by Vibraé for your sign, website and materials.
  • Support and service. A dedicated Vibraé contact, service with pickup and a replacement device, and help with your first clients and campaigns.
  • Apps for your clients. Clients book, pay and track their progress in the app, so your brand stays with them between visits too.

You decide on the price list, opening hours, interior and how you look after your clients. We make sure the equipment, software and training let you do it well.

The three models side by side

Three ways of working with Vibraé

Every partner starts from a different place, so instead of a single price list we have three paths and a conversation about which one fits your business.

  1. Studio or salon. For studios, clubs, salons and practices. You work on Vibraé equipment with the Core system and team training, under the Vibraé brand or your own, with the tag powered by Vibraé. We match the set to your way of working, and before deciding you can try it during free tests.
  2. Distribution and wholesale. For businesses in Poland and abroad that want to bring Vibraé to their market or region. The partner gets the product, apps in the local language, materials and our experience in launching studios and salons, as well as training for the sales team.
  3. Partner programme. For trainers, creators and studios who recommend Vibraé to their clients and community. The partner gets their own code and a commission on sales, and we take care of the formalities, delivery and onboarding.

We agree the terms individually, after a conversation about your market, scale and plans. We care about a partnership that lasts for years, not a single transaction.

How to choose the right model for you

Before you decide, answer a few questions. Do you want to build your own brand that in a few years you will be able to develop or sell? How many decisions do you want to make yourself, and how many would you rather leave to someone who knows the industry? Do you already have clients, premises or a team, or are you starting from scratch? And will the agreement in front of you let you change the equipment, price list or direction if the market changes?

If you want a ready-made recipe and do not mind working under someone else's name, a franchise may be a good choice. If you have experience and want to do everything your own way, you can start on your own. The powered by Vibraé model is for those who want to keep their own brand but do not want to start from scratch.

Vibraé is already at work

This is not a prototype. More than a thousand people train and have treatments on Vibraé equipment and apps. Seven training studios work on it, with around 400 people training in them, as well as nine beauty salons used by more than 500 clients, and 112 Vibraé Home sets have gone to clients' homes. The apps are available on the App Store and Google Play, the shop and apps work in many languages, and we also organise delivery and service abroad.

Honestly about the limitations

  • A partnership does not replace work on sales. The equipment, system and materials help, but it is mainly the studio that wins clients in its area.
  • Your own brand also means your own responsibility. You decide on the standard of service and what the client hears at reception.
  • Every agreement is different. When comparing a franchise with other models, read the specific agreement, not general descriptions, including this one.
  • The terms are not a single price list. They depend on the market, scale and plans, which is why we start with a conversation, not a table.

Let's talk about working together

On the page Vibraé for partners you can watch the brand film, use the calculator, which shows what your station could bring in, and leave your contact details in the form. We will get back to you within one working day, and after sending the form you can download the brand presentation. If you are only planning a studio, start with the article how to open an EMS studio step by step.

Does Vibraé offer an EMS franchise?

Working with Vibraé is not a classic franchise. A studio or salon working on Vibraé can operate under the Vibraé brand or under its own name with the tag powered by Vibraé, and the owner decides on the price list, opening hours and way of working.

What does the tag powered by Vibraé mean?

It shows that a studio or salon operating under its own name works on Vibraé equipment, software and training. The tag appears on the sign, the website and materials, and we prepare the signage design for the partner.

What should you watch out for in a franchise agreement?

The entry fee and ongoing fees, the premises standard, the designated equipment and software supplier, a centrally set price list, the length of the agreement, a non-compete clause after it ends, and whether the agreement gives territorial protection.

What are the models of cooperation with Vibraé?

Three: a studio or salon working on Vibraé equipment with the Core system and team training, distribution and wholesale for businesses in Poland and abroad, and a partner programme for trainers and creators with their own code and a commission on sales.

How much does partner cooperation with Vibraé cost?

We set the terms individually, after a conversation about the partner's market, scale and plans. We are interested in cooperation for years, not in a single transaction.

What does a Vibraé partner get?

Equipment with our own software, the Core Fitness or Core Beauty system with the partner's logo, onboarding and the Vibraé Academy path, marketing materials with photos of real equipment, a signage design, a dedicated account manager, service with replacement equipment, and apps for clients.
